What Does Rebirth Reset in Durian Garden?
Durian Garden rebirth resets wipe your cash and most of your farm, including trees, seeds, and durians. In exchange, you gain a permanent Durian Sell Bonus that raises your durian earnings. Your vehicles, codes, and settings survive, so check what you’re giving up before confirming.
The reset reaches beyond your wallet. Farm expansion, hut progress, and water well progress also disappear, leaving you to rebuild the production side of your orchard.
| Progress or belongings | What happens after rebirth |
|---|---|
| Cash | Resets |
| Hut progress | Resets |
| Unlocked farm plots | Resets |
| Water well progress | Resets |
| Trees | Removed |
| Seeds in your inventory or farm | Removed |
| Durians in your inventory or farm | Removed |
| Vehicles | Kept |
| Codes | Kept |
| Settings | Kept |
Stored durians are part of the reset, too. Moving fruit out of your bag and into farm storage does not preserve it. The same applies to seeds: leaving them unplanted does not carry them into your next run.
Cash also disappears rather than simply dropping by the rebirth requirement. Saving a large surplus before restarting means giving up that surplus along with everything else in your balance.

What the Durian Sell Bonus Gives You
Rebirth improves the sale value of every durian variety. The bonus remains active after the reset, and additional rebirths increase it further.

In the tester build, the rebirth menu shows a 25,000 cash requirement alongside a 1.25x durian sales multiplier. That multiplier increases the cash you earn from selling durians.
That is the economic trade: surrender your current farm’s production setup to earn more from future durian sales. Your orchard becomes smaller immediately after resetting, while the bonus helps you earn cash as you rebuild.
Read the requirement and reward shown in your rebirth menu before committing. Use those displayed values when deciding how much more farming to do.
When Should You Rebirth?
Rebirth once you meet the requirement and are ready to rebuild. Continuing to accumulate cash, unlock plots, or plant expensive trees adds more progress that the reset will remove.
Avoid starting a long growing cycle immediately before restarting. Monthong trees take two hours to grow in the tester build. Planting one and resetting before it produces means losing both the tree and the time spent waiting.
Use your current farm to reach the requirement, then make the decision before another round of major purchases:
- Pause farm expansion. Additional plots and hut or well upgrades disappear with the reset.
- Skip seed stockpiling. Inventory seeds receive the same treatment as planted ones.
- Harvest and sell when you still need cash to qualify. Unsold fruit cannot carry you through rebirth.
- Avoid building a cash cushion for afterward. Your existing balance resets.
If you want to finish growing a particular tree or enjoy your expanded farm longer, delay the reset deliberately. Keep the cost clear: that farm progress is temporary once you choose to rebirth.
Check Your Farm Before Confirming
Open the rebirth menu only after deciding what you want to finish during the current run. Then work through this checklist:
- Read the cash requirement. Compare it with your balance before making more purchases.
- Inspect your inventory and storage. Include seeds, ordinary fruit, and Gold, Diamond, or Rainbow durians in your decision.
- Sell any harvest needed to qualify. Load durians into the truck before using the selling point; carrying them does not include them in the truck’s sale.
- Review the reset list. Account for your hut, plots, water well, and trees.
- Confirm when you’re ready to rebuild. Your vehicles remain available for hauling future harvests.
Keep code rewards in mind during this check. Codes remain through rebirth, but cash received from them still belongs to the balance that gets wiped. Redeem cash codes when you intend to use the money rather than immediately before a reset that would erase it.
