Durian Garden Beginner Guide: Grow, Sell, and Expand

Get Your First Harvest to Market

A ripe durian only pays off once you get it to the buyer. This Durian Garden beginner guide takes you from your starter seed to selling truckloads of fruit, managing rubber trees, and handling nighttime thieves. In the Roblox [Tester] build, learning that full farming loop helps you make spending decisions before expensive seeds and rebirth enter the picture.

  1. Finish the planting and watering tutorial. Start with the durian seed the tutorial gives you, plant it, and follow the watering prompts. Keep watering when the tree needs it rather than assuming that a large tree is ready to harvest.

  2. Complete a sale before shopping for upgrades. Harvest your ripe durian, load it into the pickup truck, and drive to the durian selling area. Learn where to unload before you have a much larger harvest waiting at home.

  3. Refill your watering can at the pond. If watering stops because the can is empty, refill it and return to your trees. Keep this task separate from using the water gun, which has a role in dealing with intruders.

Buy Seeds With Growth Time in Mind

The game includes six durian varieties, and seed shopping introduces more than a choice of fruit. Stock refreshes, growth times differ, and the market includes daily price changes.

Durian Garden — Buy Seeds With Growth Time in Mind

  1. Read the growth timer before spending. Monthong can take two hours to grow. Keep producing with your existing trees while waiting for a slower planting instead of tying up your entire budget in a harvest you cannot sell soon.

  2. Check seed stock and daily prices together. Revisit the shop when stock refreshes, then compare the available varieties with the market’s daily prices. Avoid spending everything on one purchase if you are saving for another seed.

  3. Inspect fruit for mutations while harvesting. GOLD, DIAMOND, and RAINBOW mutations are part of the farming system. Watch for them as your orchard develops, but build your spending plans around regular harvests rather than expecting a rare mutation.

Growth-boosting fertilizer is another purchase to consider. Read its in-game details before buying it, especially when the same money could fund another tree or an expansion.

Expand Into Rubber Without Emptying Your Wallet

Rubber adds another production loop: grow the tree, water it, perform the tapping interaction, wait for latex to collect, and harvest it.

  1. Budget for both land and trees. The rubber plantation expansion costs 5,000, and rubber trees cost 1,500 each. Buying access alone does not give you a working plantation, so leave enough money for planting.

  2. Check the plot type if planting fails. Use the plot’s change-type option to select a compatible planting area before trying again. Repeatedly selecting the tree will not solve a plot mismatch.

  3. Follow the tapping line carefully. Rubber tapping uses a cutting interaction, and a failed attempt can leave you without latex. Focus on following the displayed path rather than rushing through the motion.

  4. Let the latex accumulate before collecting it. Finishing a cut is only part of the process. While the collection container fills, return to your durians, then come back to collect the rubber. Take rubber to its dedicated buyer when making your selling trip.

Hire Help for Watering

Workers can take watering off your hands, but hiring introduces expenses alongside the convenience.

  1. Buy help for the task it actually performs. Noi waters trees; keep harvesting, loading, and selling on your own schedule. Hiring a watering worker does not replace the rest of your farming routine.

  2. Keep money available for wages. Workers involve a hiring cost and salary requests. Leave a cash reserve instead of spending your entire balance on recruitment and immediately returning to an empty wallet.

Once watering is covered, use that time to collect mature fruit or handle rubber tapping. Those jobs still need your attention.

Prepare for Nighttime Theft

THE PURGE makes nighttime part of farm management. Players can steal produce after dark, so a farm full of ripe fruit also gives visitors something to take.

  1. Watch the nighttime warning before leaving home. Harvest ready produce and plan selling trips around what is happening at your farm. Avoid leaving valuable fruit unattended while browsing shops.

  2. Equip your headlamp and keep the water gun ready. The headlamp helps with working after dark, while the water gun lets you fend off intruders. Stay aware of visitors around your trees rather than focusing entirely on planting menus.

Stealing is an available mechanic, but keep your own production running while exploring it. Growing, harvesting, and selling remain the core farming loop.

Read the Rebirth Reset Before Committing

  1. Treat rebirth as a spending decision. Rebirth offers bigger profits, but it also removes your current money. Read the reset prompt before accepting, particularly if you have been saving for seeds, land, or workers.

  2. Put bonus cash toward a specific purchase. The code entry area is inside Settings, farther down the menu. If you receive an in-game code reward, decide whether it will fund planting, rubber expansion, or worker costs before spending it across several shops. Keep the rebirth money reset in mind before redeeming a cash reward.
