Separate Mutations From Durian Varieties

The game has 6 durian varieties, with seed names including Kradum Thong, Phuang Manee, and Kanyao. Those names identify the variety you plant; Gold, Diamond, and Rainbow identify mutations.

Keep variety, weight, and mutation separate when comparing fruit. A large durian gives you a size milestone to chase, while a mutation gives you a different kind of find.

Watering and growth-boosting fertilizer are part of tending your orchard. Use those tools to support growth, and check the fruit as your trees produce their harvest. When buying seeds, read the variety name rather than mistaking its rarity tier for a fruit mutation.

Kanyao carries an epic rarity label in the seed shop. That label belongs to the seed selection, so keep it separate from the Gold, Diamond, and Rainbow names you are watching for on fruit. The shop also refreshes its seed stock. Check the refreshed selection when you want another variety for your orchard.

The daily-price display adds another detail to compare when choosing what to grow. Kanyao can appear with a -2% price adjustment. Read that adjustment alongside the variety name when planning a purchase; the market percentage and the seed's rarity label describe different parts of the farming system.

Fruit weight gives you another concrete comparison during harvest. Durians can weigh 3 kg or 4 kg, and heavier 7 kg and 8 kg fruit also appears in the Tester build. Inspect the weight rather than judging entirely by how large a durian looks on its tree.

Harvest and Protect Your Rare Fruit

Finding an unusual durian still leaves the harvesting and selling to do. The basic routine is:

1. Tend your trees. Water them while growing your crop.
2. Harvest ripe durians. Check the fruit you collect for its appearance and weight.
3. Load your pickup truck. Put the harvested produce in the back.
4. Drive to the durian selling point. Deliver the load to sell it.

The watering can needs refilling, and the pond provides water. Refill it there when it runs dry, then return to tending your trees. Equip the headlamp for working after dark; it gives you light while moving around the orchard at night.

Hired workers can handle watering, too. Noi costs 6,000 to hire and waters trees after joining the farm. Keep harvesting on your own task list: Noi's orchard work includes watering and tree maintenance, without collecting the ripe durians for you. Hiring help therefore still leaves fruit collection, truck loading, and deliveries in your hands.

At the durian selling point, press E to sell. Individual fruit can display values such as 20 Baht, 22 Baht, and 11 Baht during harvesting. Read the value attached to each fruit instead of assigning one price to every durian in a load.

Nighttime adds a reason to stay attentive. During THE PURGE, players can steal durians from other farms, so watch your orchard when the event begins.

Plan your selling trips around what is happening at home. Leaving the farm to deliver a load also takes you away from the trees you are protecting. If you spot a rare fruit while theft is active, keep track of it through harvesting and loading, and stay alert to nearby players.
