What Is the Purge in Durian Garden?

The Durian Garden purge turns nighttime into a stealing opportunity: other players can take your produce, and you can raid their farms. Leaving ripe durians unattended gives a neighbor something to grab. Plan your harvests and selling trips around that risk, especially when rare mutations are growing.

The farming loop still matters: plant trees, help them grow, harvest the fruit, load your truck, and sell. Nighttime adds a reason to watch the orchard instead of spending every spare moment shopping or exploring.

Wait until night before attempting to steal. Visiting another farm during daylight lets you look around, but theft is tied to the nighttime phase.

Prepare Before Night Falls

Each server holds up to 8 players. Pay attention to neighboring farms and their owners’ movements before heading out on a raid.

Get your equipment and route ready while you can still focus on ordinary farm work:

• Equip your headlamp. Use it to see while moving around after dark.
• Buy a water gun from the seed shop. Carry it for encounters with other players, and refill it at the pond.
• Learn the route home. Check how far you will need to carry fruit before choosing a neighboring orchard.
• Locate the durian selling point. Practice the drive with your own harvest before adding a nighttime raid to the trip.

Keep watering and harvesting during preparation. Hired workers can help water trees, but continue collecting ripe durians yourself instead of waiting for a watering worker to harvest them.

Protect Your Orchard During the Purge

Harvest ripe fruit and complete a selling trip before leaving your farm unattended for an extended visit elsewhere. Selling collected produce gives thieves fewer durians to target back home.

Watch your trees when another player enters the orchard. A visitor can walk onto a neighboring farm even when a vehicle cannot enter, so a blocked driveway does little to discourage someone approaching on foot.

Keep the water gun filled before a confrontation. Running to the pond while someone is already reaching for your fruit costs time you could spend defending the orchard.

The game includes rare GOLD, DIAMOND, and RAINBOW mutations. Check those trees before wandering off to browse seeds or inspect someone else’s harvest. If you are growing mutated fruit, prioritize collecting and selling it over extending a raid.

Steal Durians and Get Them to Market

A successful grab still leaves you with the job of transporting and selling the fruit. Plan the whole trip before entering another farm.

1. Wait for nighttime. Start the theft attempt during the stealing phase.
2. Approach the orchard on foot. Leave your vehicle outside if it cannot enter the farm.
3. Choose a fruit before grabbing it. Inspect its weight and appearance rather than repeatedly switching targets.
4. Watch the owner’s movements. Use an opening when they leave, and prepare to retreat when they return.
5. Carry your haul back and load it into your truck. Complete the transfer before setting off.
6. Drive to the durian selling point. Use the selling interaction to cash in the fruit.

At the durian selling point, press E to sell. Check the daily price display, too: durian varieties have their own prices, alongside the fruit’s weight.

Avoid spending your entire opening searching for a heavier durian. Chasing a 7 kg or 8 kg fruit gives the owner time to return, particularly when you have already found something you can carry away.

Keep raids short when your own trees are ready to harvest. Before making another trip next door, check your orchard—the same nighttime opportunity is available to your neighbors.
