How to Plant Trees in Durian Garden

Equip a seed and interact with an open planting spot to start your orchard. This Durian Garden planting trees guide walks you through choosing compatible plots, caring for growing trees, and turning ripe fruit into cash. Getting those steps right keeps you from buying saplings you cannot plant or waiting on a tree that needs water.

Follow the opening tutorial in the Roblox [Tester] build:

  1. Build your house and starter farm area.
  2. Equip the durian seed from your inventory.
  3. Approach a planting spot in the soil and place the seed.
  4. Follow the tutorial through watering and harvesting.
  5. Spawn your truck at the garage, load your harvest, and drive to the durian selling area.

The starter Kradum Thong tree grows immediately during the opening tutorial. Later purchases have growth timers, so that quick introduction does not represent every tree you plant.

Keep tree growth and fruit ripening separate. A full-size tree can still have fruit that needs more time before you can collect it.

Buying Seeds and Choosing Durian Varieties

Visit the Seed Shop in the central market area to buy more durian seeds. Stock refreshes, so return when the variety you want becomes available.

Durian Garden — Buying Seeds and Choosing Durian Varieties

The orchard has two separate things to chase:

A variety determines which durian you grow; a mutation adds a special status to the harvest. A Chanee fruit, for example, can have a Diamond or Rainbow mutation.

Chanee seeds cost 200 cash, and their displayed initial growth time is about 5 minutes. Monthong takes 2 hours to grow. Keep harvesting your established trees while waiting for a slower variety to mature.

Do not spend your entire balance on a long growth timer. Keep producing and selling fruit from your existing orchard so you can continue buying seeds and covering expenses.

Matching Durian, Rubber, and Palm Trees to Plots

A seed that refuses to plant can be on the wrong plot type. Use Change plot type to switch between a durian plot and a rubber plot.

Palm trees use the same plot type as durians. Rubber saplings require a rubber plot, with a 5,000-cash unlock cost.

PlantRequired plot typeSeed or sapling cost
Chanee durianDurian200 cash
Rubber treeRubber1,500 cash
Palm treeDurian3,000 cash

Before converting an occupied plot, harvest its fruit and read the clearing prompt. Switching plot types requires removing the existing trees, and digging up a tree permanently destroys it.

Use an empty plot for rubber when you can afford the expansion. That lets you add latex production while keeping your established durian trees.

Palm harvesting also works differently from collecting durians. Repeated clicks bring the palm fruit down, followed by a timing action that requires clicking in the green zone.

Watering Trees and Using Fertilizer

Keep your watering can filled at the pond and respond when a tree displays its water requirement. Trees need water to continue producing crops.

Check the tree’s status rather than repeatedly watering a tree that has no water prompt. Watering does not replace the displayed wait for a long-growing variety such as Monthong.

Fertilizer and tree tonics need a little more attention:

  • Read the item description before buying; growth reduction and fruit-production effects serve different purposes.
  • Equip a growth fertilizer, stand beside the durian tree, and click to apply it.
  • Check whether the tree needs a tonic before using a tree tonic.
  • Keep durian fertilizer for durian trees; it does not work on rubber trees.

A tree that rejects an item does not necessarily need more water. Check the item’s purpose, the tree type, and the tree’s current status before trying again.

Expanding Your Farm and Hiring Help

Unlocking additional farm plots gives you room to plant more trees. Expand when your existing planting spaces are occupied and you have enough cash left to buy seeds for the new space.

Workers handle tree care, including watering, but they do not harvest your fruit. You still need to collect produce and take it to market.

Noi costs 6,000 cash to hire and also requires wages. Account for that ongoing expense before signing a contract.

Hire help when watering is interrupting your harvesting and selling routine. Keep enough cash available for wages instead of spending everything on the hiring fee.

A worker standing still does not automatically mean a tree needs attention. Check the water prompts yourself, especially while newly planted trees are still growing.

Harvesting, Storage, and Selling Your Produce

Wait until an individual durian is ripe, then use the harvesting interaction to catch it in a sack. Check each fruit separately; fruit on the same tree can reach harvest readiness at different times.

Once collected, produce needs to go into your truck before you sell it. Carrying a valuable durian to the selling zone is not enough.

For fruit kept in the durian storage shed:

  1. Withdraw the fruit from storage.
  2. Open the truck’s cargo area.
  3. Load the fruit.
  4. Drive to the durian selling zone and use the sell interaction.

Check the Global Market before choosing what to sell. Prices change with the new day, and variety, weight, and mutation affect a fruit’s value. Compare the displayed prices instead of judging a harvest by its color or size alone.

Rubber adds another production loop: tap a mature tree, wait for the latex collection to finish, collect the rubber, and load it into your truck. Take it to the separate rubber selling area.

Watch for THE PURGE at night. Other players can steal durians during this event, so harvest valuable ripe fruit before leaving your orchard unattended. Keep watch over trees with valuable fruit still growing.

Check Your Rebirth Plans Before Planting Expensive Seeds

Rebirth gives you a permanent Durian Sell Bonus, but resets much of your farm. Cash, house progress, unlocked plots, water well progress, trees, seeds, and durians are lost. Vehicles, codes, and settings remain.

Open the Rebirth menu before committing to another expensive planting cycle. Read its cash requirement and reset list, then decide whether you are expanding this orchard or preparing to restart.

If you plan to rebirth soon, avoid planting a two-hour Monthong tree that you intend to reset before harvesting.
