How to Hire Workers in Durian Garden

Stop letting watering interrupt every harvest. This Durian Garden hiring workers guide covers recruiting gardeners who water your trees and apply tree tonics while you collect and sell fruit. Their daily salaries make the decision about more than the initial hiring fee.

To recruit a gardener:

  1. Open the gardener hiring interface. Browse the available employees.
  2. Compare their stats. The hiring menu includes attributes such as strength and speed, alongside the hiring cost.
  3. Review the salary. Leave enough cash to cover ongoing pay after signing.
  4. Select the gardener and sign the contract. Complete the hiring interaction to bring the employee onto your farm.

Start with one gardener and watch how well your trees stay watered before adding another. Buying several contracts immediately can leave you paying for more help than your current farm needs.

What Gardeners Do—and What You Still Handle

Gardeners handle watering and tree tonic application. Keeping trees supplied with water matters because dry trees can stop producing fruit.

Durian Garden — What Gardeners Do—and What You Still Handle

That support frees you to work on tasks that turn your farm’s output into cash:

  • Harvest ripe durians.
  • Load fruit into your pickup.
  • Take your harvest to the market.
  • Buy seeds and expand production.
  • Tap rubber trees and collect latex if you have a rubber plantation.

Gardeners do not harvest durians. Ripe fruit still needs your attention, so hiring someone does not create a fully automatic farm. Keep collecting and selling while your employee handles tree care.

Rain also waters plants. Check the forecast on your TV before spending time watering manually, and use rainy periods to catch up on harvesting or market trips.

If a gardener appears idle, check whether the trees need water before assuming something is wrong. Judge the help by your trees’ condition rather than standing beside the employee waiting for an animation.

Hiring Fees and Daily Salaries

In the Tester build, the hiring list includes options costing 120 and 200 in-game cash. Noi costs 6,000, with a daily salary just over 200. These are separate expenses: paying the contract fee does not cover every future payday.

Mali’s daily wage is 250, deducted at night in the Tester build. Check each employee’s own contract instead of budgeting the same salary for everyone.

Keep two spending decisions separate:

  • Can you afford the contract? Paying the hiring fee should leave money for wages and planned farm purchases.
  • Can harvest sales support the salary? Use recurring crop income to judge affordability, rather than a temporary boost from redeem codes.

For a simple budget example, five daily wage deductions of 250 total 1,250. That expense comes on top of the hiring fee and anything else you buy during those days.

Avoid counting unsold fruit as available payroll cash. Market prices change, and waiting for a better price only works when you can still cover expenses.

Giving Workers Gifts and Raising Hearts

You can give employees gifts to increase their hearts. Workers also have favorite durian varieties, giving you a reason to check their preferences before handing over fruit.

Mali likes Phuang Mani and Nok Jib durians. Read the employee’s preference information when choosing a gift.

Keep gifting within your farm’s budget. Every durian you give away is fruit you could otherwise sell, so cover the next salary payment before using valuable produce for hearts.

When Hiring Is Worth the Expense

Hire when watering repeatedly pulls you away from harvesting, rubber tapping, or selling. The benefit comes from using that freed time to keep income moving.

Before signing another contract:

  • Finish some harvest-and-sale cycles. Establish what your farm earns without relying on code rewards.
  • Identify the task slowing you down. A gardener helps with tree care; collecting ripe fruit remains your job.
  • Keep a wage reserve. Leave cash available when buying seeds or expanding plots.
  • Watch the existing worker’s coverage. Add help when tree care still interrupts your other tasks.

If you are spending more on wages than your crops bring in, delay additional hires. Keep harvesting and selling with your current setup until regular income can support a larger payroll.
